Discussion
It’ll turn colder today following the passage of a frontal system and it should stay seasonably cold on Thursday as well. We’ll turn milder for Friday and Saturday and it’ll turn wet as a cold front approaches the Mid-Atlantic region. That front should usher in colder air on Christmas Eve (Sunday) and there is a chance for more precipitation on Sunday and Monday, perhaps even a changeover from rain-to-snow as it turns colder. It’ll stay colder for the remainder of next week and there may be an even better setup for snow at week’s end.
