Discussion
A major pattern change is going to take this week in the Mid-Atlantic region that will result in a sustained period of colder-than-normal temperatures with snow threats as well. The strong cold front that will usher in the initial cold shot in this unfolding pattern change will produce showers around here from later tomorrow into early Wednesday. By late Wednesday, the wind will pick up out of the northwest and the colder air mass will pour into the Mid-Atlantic region.
