Discussion
Very mild air for this time of year will return to the Mid-Atlantic region today following the overnight passage of a warm frontal system. Temperatures could reach the 70 degree mark for highs on Thursday and it will stay quite mild right into the weekend. On Saturday, a strong cold front will approach from the northwest and likely generate showers around here and perhaps a thunderstorm or two. It’ll turn quite a bit colder on Sunday following the passage of the cold frontal system and temperatures should hold in the 40’s as we close out the weekend.
