Discussion
The weather pattern will be very active in the I-95 corridor over the next few days ranging from rain and high temperatures near 60 degrees around here to the potential for accumulating snow. It’ll turn much warmer for today and Wednesday and the warm up will be accompanied by occasional rainfall. Colder air will then push into the region tomorrow night and this temperature transition is likely to result in a period of rain changing to accumulating snow. Travel is likely to be impacted Thursday morning and this could turn out to be the heaviest snowfall of the season so far; especially, across the northern and western suburbs where several inches are on the table.
