Discussion
High pressure will push away from the area today and a “clipper” low pressure system will head this way from the Great Lakes. This “clipper” system is likely to generate some snow in the area late tonight into early tomorrow then primarily rain for the rest of Saturday and then a return of more snow tomorrow night. There can be a coating to an inch or so of snow by mid-day tomorrow and then another 1-3 inches is possible tomorrow night as the "clipper" intensifies off the Mid-Atlantic coastline. High pressure will return for the early part of next week and it'll turn milder, but then another cold blast arrives for the mid-week.
