Discussion
A strong ocean flow of air has developed in response to building high pressure across the Mid-Atlantic states. This onshore flow is supporting scattered showers and thunderstorms this morning across east-central Florida and the threat will continue into tonight. Clouds will knock down temperatures a bit today compared to the warmth experienced on Wednesday. Overall conditions should improve this weekend as high pressure builds into the western Atlantic and both days look sunny and warm.
