Discussion

The weather continues to look rather tranquil for the next couple of days as high pressure stays in control along much of the eastern seaboard. By the end of the work week; however, there will be some instability in the Southeast US as upper-level energy heads towards the Northeast US and this could bring us an afternoon shower or thunderstorm on Friday afternoon. Drier air returns to the region this weekend and temperatures should remain a bit warmer-than-normal for this time of year.
