Discussion
An active weather pattern continues across the nation with colder-than-normal air setting up out in the western US and a warm surge of air heading into the eastern US. This clash of air masses will create the possibility of strong thunderstorm activity in parts of the nation during the next few days. The greatest threat for severe weather around here may come later Sunday as a strong cold front approaches the Tennessee Valley.
