Discussion
Summer explodes onto the scene by mid-week! The deep and slow-moving upper-level low pressure system that helped to spawn the early weekend coastal storm and the late weekend unsettled weather conditions will push off the Northeast US coastline over the next couple of days. As a result, much warmer air will advance northeastward from the southern states over the next couple of days and temperatures around here should reach well into the 80’s by Wednesday afternoon - perhaps 90 degrees in a few spots. Once this very warm air arrives in the Mid-Atlantic region, it looks like it should stick around right into the end of the upcoming weekend.
