Discussion
The first half of the work week will be unsettled with occasional showers and possible thunderstorms as deep upper-level low spins over the Northeast US. It’ll turn noticeably cooler over the next few days with temperatures becoming well below-normal for this time of year. High pressure will build back in during the latter part of the week and we'll turn quite warm again over the upcoming weekend. In fact, temperatures could take a run at 90 degrees for highs on Sunday afternoon in parts of the I-95 corridor region from DC-to-Philly-to-NYC.
