Discussion

It'll turn quite hot around here for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and the potential exists for some hot weather this weekend as well. High pressure has pushed off the east coast and a trough has expanded in the upper atmosphere just to our west. As a result, very warm and moist air will flow northward into the Mid-Atlantic region over the next several days and our temperatures for the second half of the week will climb into the 90’s. While there can be late day or evening showers and thunderstorms over the next couple of days, most of the time will be rain-free.
