Discussion

The remainder of the work week looks uncomfortably hot and humid and it won't get any better this weekend. Weak high pressure will be in control today and temperatures should climb to 90 degrees for afternoon highs and then likely to 90+ degrees on Thursday and Friday. A weak cool front will move across the area late tomorrow and then stall out near the Delmarva Peninsula - ultimately returning here as a warm front by later in the weekend. The weekend may feature more clouds than sun, still rather hot and humid conditions, and showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out on either day.
