Discussion

High pressure continues to persist over the western Atlantic and this position will promote a favorable environment for afternoon/early evening showers and thunderstorms during the next few days. In fact, this “Bermuda high” type of weather pattern will likely persist right into next week continuing our daily threat of showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures on each of the next several days will come close to the 90 degree mark for afternoon highs.
