Discussion
A sharp trough of low pressure will form over the east coast by the weekend and it’ll drive a frontal system way down into the Southeast US. As a result, southwest flow will form over the region pushing temperatures into the lower 90’s for highs over the next couple of days. By later in the weekend, the threat for showers and thunderstorms will climb across central Florida as this upper trough slides southward towards the local area. This increased threat for rain here will continue into the early part of next week.
