Discussion
A frontal system has stalled out to our south and it will act as a conduit for moisture to ride along over the next 24 hours or so and the result will be a soaking rainfall for the Philly metro region. There will be multiple rounds of rain into Friday with thunderstorms also mixed into the picture and some spots may end up with more than two inches of rainfall by later tomorrow. Temperatures today will be held down significantly by clouds and rainfall, but this same front will push northward tomorrow as a warm front and we’ll turn noticeably warmer on Friday as we close out the work week. A cold front, however, will arrive tomorrow night and it’ll usher in a nice air mass for July for the upcoming weekend with low humidity.
