Discussion

A frontal boundary to our south will lift northward later today and this will increase our chances for showers and thunderstorms after a few days of quiet, rain-free weather. Another frontal system will approach the region this weekend keeping it somewhat unsettled around here and low pressure may then form along this boundary zone early next week. There is still no excessive heat in sight for the Mid-Atlantic region.
