Discussion
Weak high pressure builds into the region today and the new work week gets off to a pretty nice start although a couple of showers cannot be ruled out over the next 24 hours or so. A front will approach the region later in the week and likely stall out near the area. As a result, the threat for showers and storms will return on Thursday and the good news is that there is still no excessive heat in sight for the Mid-Atlantic region.
