Discussion

Eclipse day has finally arrived and there will be some clouds this afternoon across central Florida, but generally mainly sunny skies. Mid-level trough over the central Gulf will pull away today and a ridge will build over the area. Drier air should work its way into the region today from the east as the ridge builds aloft. Special solar eclipse glasses must be worn throughout today’s event.
