Discussion
A cold front will approach the region late today and bring us the chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms. Following the frontal passage, an unseasonably cool air mass for late August will envelope the Mid-Atlantic region and temperatures will be well below normal as we end the work week and begin the weekend. At the same time, moisture from the remnants of Harvey will push to the northeast and the result is likely to be some rainfall here on Saturday. Overall weather conditions should improve early next week.
