Discussion
A strong high pressure ridge is centered across the western Atlantic Ocean and it’ll continue to pump in moist air for the Tennessee Valley. An upper-level trough over the Great Plains will shift slowly eastward over the next couple days and this combined with the high moisture content in the current air mass will result in a continuing chance of showers and thunderstorms in the area for much of the week.
