Discussion
A strong cold front passed through the region last night and it’ll be noticeably cooler today while low pressure rides along the stalled out frontal boundary zone. As a result, the threat for rain will continue through the day and into tonight and there may be a thunderstorm or two mixed in. Meanwhile, major Hurricane Irma continues to grind westward over the Atlantic and is on a track that will bring a significant impact to southern Florida later in the weekend.
