Discussion
The next several days will be characterized by a topsy-turvy temperature pattern. Today will start off on the cold side with Arctic high pressure situated over the area. The high quickly shifts to our east on Saturday and temperatures will respond by climbing back up to near 50 degrees. An upper-level trough will dig into Texas late Saturday night and showers are likely to be the result here for the second half of the weekend and some of the rain can be moderate-to-heavy at times.
