Discussion

Strong low pressure continues to move slowly northeastward east of the New England coastline and it has left behind a chilly air mass in the Tennessee Valley. This air mass will keep us below-normal for another day and we’ll likely experience another late night/early morning with widespread frost. Temperatures will, however, jump to the 60’s tomorrow afternoon and likely stay there for highs through the upcoming weekend. Along with the warm up will come an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms as we get to the end of the work week and into the weekend. /p>
