Discussion
The next low pressure system of interest will drop southeast from the Northern Plains early this weekend, but it should then slide far enough to our south to spare the region of any precipitation only likely to impact places like southern Virginia and North Carolina. After that system passes, it looks like it’ll turn warmer by the middle part of next week, but that warm up may just last a few days as a colder-than-normal pattern looks like it will return at the beginning of April (i.e., next weekend). One final note, this has become the second snowiest March in Philly history with 15.2 inches so far…the record March came in 1941 with 17.7 inches.
