Discussion
The warmest weather in weeks will arrive today and it'll continue into Friday following the passage of a warm frontal system. It may be a struggle, but afternoon temperatures should reach the 70 degree mark; especially, across southern sections of the DC metro region, and it'll stay quite mild early Friday just ahead of a cold frontal system. That cold front will slide through the region by mid-day and the afternoon could see some clearing skies as winds pick up following morning showers. Cooler air moves into the region for Saturday and then another frontal system could produce a rain shower around here on Sunday morning. By Monday, weak low pressure will move to our south and there could be some rain and/or snow shower activity in the DC metro region. One final note, the Orioles open up this afternoon and temperatures could make it to the 70 degree mark by the first pitch (Nats opener in Cincinnati has been already postponed until tomorrow).
