Discussion
Low pressure will push east of here later today and drag a cold front through the region accompanied by showers in the AM hours. This front will usher in another unseasonably cold air mass for this time of year and strong northwest tonight and Friday will make it feel even colder than the actual air temperature. Highs on Friday will be confined to the low-to-mid 50’s which is well below normal for mid-April. The weekend will feature dry and cool conditions as high pressure moves into the Northeast US. Looking ahead, there is the chance for a strong low pressure system to develop near the Mid-Atlantic coastline by the middle of next week and this could lead to another heavy rain event for the region.
