Discussion
High pressure will push off the east coast later today and this will open the flood gates for more tropical moisture to advance northward from the southeastern states. As a result, the threat for rain will increase by later tonight and there can be some significant rain around here during the latter part of the week and during the weekend. In fact, this wet pattern looks like it will continue right into the early part of next week.
