Discussion
A cool front will approach the area later today with the threat of strong thunderstorm activity during the afternoon hours and then it'll stall out in our general vicinity. This stalled out front will lead to unsettled weather conditions around here for much of the remainder of the week and weekend as waves of low pressure track right along the expected nearly stationary frontal boundary zone. High pressure will try to take some control of the weather around here on Thursday and Friday, but it is likely to only result in slight improvement and then it'll move off the coast by early this weekend opening the door for more moisture to head eastward into the region.
