Discussion
While we’ll still have a threat for an isolated shower or thunderstorm today, there will be noticeable improvement with plenty of sunshine and warmer conditions. A cool front will approach on Friday and there can be a band of strong-to-severe thunderstorms that form just ahead of this front - perhaps having an impact in our area late in the day or early tomorrow night. The weekend should turn out to be pretty decent around here with some sunshine expected each day, but the overall weather pattern shaping up for next week has a rather familiar and wet look to it. In fact, and I don't like saying this, but there may be more heavy rainfall next week in much of the eastern US.
