Discussion

An unusually strong upper-level trough over the Midwest is combining with strong high pressure ridging over the western Atlantic Ocean to pump tropical air from south-to-north along the eastern seaboard. Similar to last week’s pattern, more soaking rainfall is coming to the eastern US and this is to include the state of Florida.
