Discussion
High pressure ridging will extend westward from the western Atlantic and continue to pump very warm and moist air into central Florida. As a result, the threat for scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through the weekend and high temperatures of 90 degrees are likely each day right into the early part of next week. The annual Perseid meteor shower peaks this weekend so the potential unsettled weather pattern could result in somewhat unfavorable viewing conditions.
