Discussion
A frontal system will approach the area later today and raise our chances considerably for showers and thunderstorms after a couple of rain-free days. The rain can be heavy at times during this frontal passage and some of the storms can be on the strong side. This front will be slow to move away from our area, and yes, this stalling out of the front will lead to yet another unsettled weekend around here. Lingering showers are likely with possible thunderstorms on Saturday and Saturday night and they cannot be ruled out for Sunday either. Cooler conditions are expected here on Sunday and it’ll stay comfortable during the early part of next week.
