Discussion
High pressure across New England will nose in today from the north and produce a comfortable start to the new work week with some sunshine and highs near 80 degrees. A strong upper-level trough will drop southeastward across the Great Lakes on Tuesday and this will lead to more showers and thunderstorms around here from late tomorrow into Wednesday. Some of the rain late tomorrow associated with this upper-level energy can be heavy at times. Large high pressure will head our way from the middle of the country for the latter part of the week and we’ll have a nice stretch of weather beginning on Thursday and likely last through the upcoming weekend with comfortable temperatures.
