Discussion
A northward-moving warm front will approach the region later today and this will combine with a vigorous eastward-moving upper-level system over the Great Lakes to increase the chances for showers and thunderstorms later today. That threat for showers and thunderstorms storms will continue tonight and on Wednesday as well as a cool front moves from the Ohio Valley to the eastern seaboard. The passage of the cool front will set the stage for a very nice stretch of weather here beginning Thursday and continuing right through the upcoming weekend - likely breaking the trend of our recent wet weekends. Temperatures and humidity levels later this week and into the early part of the weekend will remain at comfortable levels following a bit of a warm-up on Wednesday afternoon just ahead of the front. It turns hotter and more humid by early next week.
