Discussion
A strong upper-level low pressure system over the northeastern US will push away today and ridging will strengthen over the Deep South including the Florida Peninsula. Deep moisture will push into the area on south-to-southeast winds and this will help to generate scattered showers and thunderstorms heading right through the weekend and into next week.
