High pressure that provided us with great weather late last week and into the weekend has pushed off the coast and this has allowed for the return flow of very warm and humid air into our area as we begin the new work week. The hot and humid pattern looks like it will stick around into the day on Thursday at which time a cool front will arrive from the northwest with possible showers and thunderstorms. It won't be as warm on Friday and Saturday and it'll stay somewhat unsettled as the cool front stalls out nearby.
