Discussion

A weak trough of low pressure will produce a southeast flow of air around here today and there can be enough moisture for scattered shower/thunderstorm activity. High pressure ridging will build in for the rest of the week and our flow will become more southwesterly adding more moisture to the region so that showers and storms may become a bit more widespread. The annual Perseid meteor shower peaks this weekend and the weather from this vantage point does not look too promising for viewing.
