Discussion
A weak cool front passed through the region in the overnight hours with some strong thunderstorm activity and its passage will usher in slightly less humid air for the next couple of days. This frontal system will stall out just to our south and east and will then likely play a role in unsettled weather around here this weekend. Low pressure is likely to form along the frontal boundary zone and the result will be scattered showers and thunderstorms on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The annual Perseid meteor shower peaks this weekend so the likely unsettled weather conditions could result in unfavorable viewing conditions.
