Discussion
A much colder-than-normal air mass has pushed into central US and it will spread across the nation over the next couple of days albeit in a somewhat modified form. A strong cold front at the leading edge of this air mass will arrive here in the Tennessee Valley early Thursday and we’ll likely experience some heavy rainfall and possible strong thunderstorms from later today into tomorrow. Much colder air will push into the area late Thursday night with temperatures likely dropping into the 30’s for lows and highs are likely to be confined to the 50’s on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
