Discussion
The ridge of high pressure responsible for our hot weather of recent days will weaken further this weekend as an upper-level trough swings through the Northern Plains. As a result, after a couple more hot days across the Tennessee Valley, we’ll cool down some on Sunday and then even more as we begin the new work week. In fact, high temperatures on Monday afternoon could be confined to the middle 70’s as compared with the middle 90’s of the past few days.
