Discussion
Snow in the region should wind down by mid or late morning and there will be some clearing this afternoon as high pressure moves closer from the Ohio Valley. That high will push overhead tonight and temperatures will drop to near 20 degrees for lows by early Thursday. Strong low pressure will move up along the east coast as we head towards the weekend and this is likely to produce heavy rainfall around from late Friday into early Saturday.
