Discussion

The new work week will start off on the wet side as low pressure forms over a frontal boundary zone in the region and generates periods of rain, some of it can be briefly on the heavy side and there can be a rumble of thunder. A cold front will move through the area on Tuesday and pave the way for a cold New Year’s Eve and a cold New Year's Day. High pressure stays in control later on Thursday, but more rain is possible at the end of the week.
