Discussion

A persistent area of high pressure over the Southeast US will continue to result in warm weather across Florida with highs much of this week flirting with the 80 degree mark across central Florida. In contrast to the southeastern states, the western US will continue to feature cold, stormy conditions and this overall pattern is likely to last into at least the latter part of the month.
