After a chilly start to the day, mainly sunny skies should boost temperatures to near 60 degrees this afternoon as high pressure edges into the area. This high pressure system should continue to influence our weather at mid-week, but then an upper-level trough will move towards the area on Wednesday night/Thursday and it could result in some shower activity.
