Discussion

Low pressure will ride along an approaching cold front today and likely spread some rain shower activity into the DC metro region during the late afternoon and evening hours. Following the frontal passage, colder air will push into the Mid-Atlantic region for the next couple of days with below-normal temperatures generally confined to the 40’s for highs. It’ll turn milder on Thursday just in time for the Nats home opener and sunshine should boost afternoon temperatures to near 60 degrees. The nice weather will continue on Friday and Saturday, but a cold front could bring some showers our way on Sunday.
