Discussion
Today will be another below-normal day in the Mid-Atlantic region in terms of overall temperatures, but a warming trend will begin on Thursday as our low-level winds will switch to a southwesterly direction on the back side of departing high pressure. The warming trend will intensify on Friday and Saturday and 70+ degrees will be possible as we start the weekend. Showers are a threat for Sunday as the next cold frontal system arrives from the Midwest and it’ll turn colder as we begin the new week (and the new month) on Monday.
