Discussion
Deep upper-level low pressure will slowly grinds its way towards the east coast today and we’ll experience much cooler conditions on its backside with lingering showers still possible. In fact, high temperatures should be confined to the low-to-mid 50’s this afternoon compared to the 80 degree mark on Thursday. The heavy rainfall and severe weather threat that was in our area last night will shift to the east coast later today and we’ll end up with a pretty decent weekend in the Tennessee Valley.
