Discussion

High pressure will remain over the western Atlantic later for the next couple of days providing us an onshore flow of air. As a tropical-like wave drifts towards us late in the week, it'll enhance our chances for shwoers and thunderstorms. Indeed, this system will have to be closely monitored as it could result in some heavy rainfall around here at the end of the week.
