High pressure ridging will remain in control and temperatures will respond by climbing well up into the 80’s for highs during the next couple of days. A long-wave trough of low pressure will slide into the middle of the country later in the week and this will increase chances here for showers and thunderstorms from Thursday into the first part of the weekend.
