Discussion
An onshore flow of air and persistent cloud cover today will knock several degrees off the temperatures compared to Tuesday, but then we’ll turn noticeably warmer on Thursday afternoon with highs likely to be near 85 degrees. A frontal system to our south today will push northward as a warm front early Thursday and then another (cold) front will arrive on Friday night. That front will stall in the Mid-Atlantic region this weekend and a wave of low pressure will bring more showers and thunderstorms to the region from later Saturday into early Sunday.
